The goodbye party of a friend

Two years ago, when I still was on my last year of school, a friend of mine went to study to United States for one year.  He went in the worst season he could have gone: when we all were sentimental because of our last year.
We were a really closed group of eight or nine people. We were always together, making works for school or hanging out: it really didn’t matter the reason, we were always spending our time together.
At first it was a distant idea: we all knew it was gonna happen, but we refused to accept the immediate future. So, when his trip came closer and it became impossible to keep ignoring it, we made him a goodbye party on his home.
It supposed it would be a small group of people, but it seemed like the whole school had arrived. I don’t know how much people were that day, but I’m pretty sure it was more than what we had expected.
When the party began we all had a nice time, but when time passed and the alcohol level increased on our blood, the tears cameo ut and started to fall.
Five of us -who were very drunk, by the way-  came into the kitchen to talk and cry with some privacy. We were that way for while and then, with our heads high, left the room and came to the party.
Till today we all remember that night, cause it was unique.
Despite now we are not that closer and it's harder for all of us hang out together, we're still very good friends.

Italy, the country I’d like to visit

When I was a child and my mom told me there was a city named just like I was named –Florencia- I knew I had to go there.
On a book that my dad had I saw photos of Florence, Rome and Venice and I though that was the most beautiful country in the world. Since then, I’ve wanted to go to Italy to travel all around the country and get to know every corner of it.
It starts as an idea, like “who knows, maybe one day I could be there”, but when the time passed it becomes a goal. Now I think travel to Italy like a real idea and if I can take the Italian class on the Philosophy department my dream would be even closer to coming true.

I’ve always been interested on study somewhere else than Chile. Learn a new language, meet new people and being able to travel to different places. That’s why I want to go there to live for a while, like two or five years. I’m quite sure that my dream will come true sooner than later.

If you are interest to know what my ideal job would be, then go on and read this, because I’ll explain it.
Although I’d love to work on a radio, honestly my ideal kind of job would be any kind of job (radio, television, magazine) where I could be responsable of the tourism or trip section.  And that’s because I’d love to travel, know and learn about different places in the world.
To make a good job (when I get this dreamed job), I’ll need to be very responsable to read and investigate about the places where I’ll have to go, so I can write a good articule about it.  Also, I’ll need to be able to put in the shoes of the people I’ll meet, so I can write it properly. And, obviously, I’ll need to be a really great writer, so the people get interest to read my job.
Since I was a child I’ve liked to go on a trip to places where I’ve never been. And that’s the main reason why I’d be good in this kind o job, because I’ll put all my effort and interest to learn all I can about the place, the people and their culture.
I know it sounds idealistic and childish thinking that I’d find a job that makes travel around the world. It won’t be easy, but I’m very enthusiastic about it and I’d never give up on it.
